2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championships to Stream LIVE from 16-24 February on the Olympic Channel

MADRID – The Olympic Channel global digital platform presents LIVE streaming coverage of the 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championships in Prince George, Canada. Worldwide coverage* begins on Saturday, 16 February and will be available at olympicchannel.com and on its mobile apps.

The sixth edition of the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships starts on Saturday, 16 February at 10:00 PST with the men’s and women’s biathlon middle distance competition. Held over seven days, cross-country and biathlon athletes will compete in sitting and standing events and events for visually impaired athletes.

Competitors will vie for the championships in 38 medal events, 20 in cross-country and 18 in biathlon, including sprint, middle distance, long distance and relay for cross-country, and sprint, individual and middle distance for biathlon.

Athletes to watch at the 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championship are Andrea Eskau (GER), Martin Fleig (GER), Benjamin Daviet (FRA), Natalie Wilkie (CAN), Brian McKeever (CAN), Daniel Cnossen (USA), Kendall Gretsch (USA), Maysym Yarovyi (UKR), Vitaliy Lukyanenko (UKR), and Zebastian Modin (SWE), all of whom won gold medals at last year’s Winter Paralympic Games in PyeongChang.
