MADRID – The Olympic Channel, the over-the-top (OTT) global media destination where fans can discover, engage and share in the power of sport and the excitement of the Olympic Games all year round, presents LIVE online coverage of the FISE World Series 2018 event in Edmonton, Canada. Taking place from 13 to 15 July, LIVE streaming coverage will begin on 14 July and will be available worldwide* at olympicchannel.com and its mobile apps for Android and iOS.
FISE World Series is an action sports series that brings together the world’s best athletes to compete in different international cities, and is the biggest and most prestigious multi-disciplinary action sports series in the world.
The selection of sports includes BMX Freestyle Park and Flatland, Skateboard, Mountain Bike Freestyle, Roller Freestyle, Wakeboard, Scooter Freestyle and Parkour. BMX Freestyle and Skateboard will make their debut on the Olympic programme at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
To date, more than 2,700 amateur and professional athletes from over 43 countries have taken part, resulting in dramatic displays of jaw-dropping stunts, jumps and tricks. The series welcomes all skill levels. Every year the parks and ramps get bigger and the rider’s levels increase.
