Job Description

We are looking for Community Managers who are ready to join the @Olympics Global Social Media team for the management of the official social accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat) in different languages to assist on the delivery of the Winter Olympics Beijing 2022.

Job Responsibilities

  • Social content planning/strategy/channel management for English across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Digital Engagement and Marketing department as relevant.
  • Coordinate/collaborate with news editors in different languages and Beijing 2022 colleagues as needed.
  • Create original content (text, graphics and video), plus manage the community (engaging with fans etc).
  • Real-time publishing of content in fast-paced, pressure-filled environment.
  • Maintain consistent tone and voice, engaging and appealing to Olympic fans across all platforms.
  • Ensure all content meets IOC standards for integrity and production quality.
  • Use and understand social listening, analytics and reporting for the channels assigned bringing data and insights to support decision making.
  • Stay up-to-date and master best practices, resources and trends of the platform/s assigned.
  • Job Qualifications

    Skills & Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in social/digital marketing environments, ideally for global brand and/or entertainment, sports, media. company, with proven track record of acquiring and re-engaging audiences.
  • Global brand / youth / sports marketing experience is a plus.
  • English fluency both spoken and written, other language an asset.
  • Experience with visual content creation (graphic and video).
  • Solid news judgment, ability to think quickly and act appropriately under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of Olympic sports.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and what drives fan interest.
  • Excellent command of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and of corporate tools and compliance with internal usage rules (Livelink, Outlook, etc.).
  • Technical, organisational and personal competences

  • Good understanding of digital and social media tools, the latest trends and capabilities, including for the following: Social Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, TIktok, etc.) and Measurement and Data Management tools (Segment, Google Analytics, mobile tracking platforms like Kochava, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to deliver the most impactful work.
  • Self-starter, team-work skills and adaptability in an international and changing environment.
  • In sync with Olympic values of friendship, excellence, respect. Positive, open-minded personality.
  • Excellent attention to detail, guidelines, deadlines and dependencies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
