Job Description


Olympics.com is looking for an innovative, energetic, and extremely organized digital producer to handle a range of projects. This role combines elements of editorial web&app production with the operational product management of editorial products. The ideal candidate would have a wide range of digital expertise who can bring a wide skillset to the table, and has experience working with editors, producers, and developers in a content-heavy environment.

This candidate will be part of the Content Operations and Programming Team – WEB, APP and OTT. This position will work closely with the content editors along with the TechOps and Product Teams. You should be comfortable engaging in discussions with technical and non-technical team members, ensuring transparency during all stages of projects.

Job Responsibilities


  • Oversee the continual development and improvement of the CMS as well as other editorial tools and end-user features.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations around implementation of technologies on the Olympics owned and operated (OnO) platforms: desktop, mobile web and app.
  • Lead A/B testing to optimize content on digital platforms.
  • Ensure web best practices, particularly regarding SEO, are applied to asset and content creation.
  • Troubleshoot content/product/technical difficulties and report bugs and other problems to support teams.
  • Responsible for real-time publishing, updating of content in fast-paced, pressure-filled environment.
  • Coordinate/collaborate with all content teams on best practices for the presentation and curation of content.
  • Manage content integration & migration.
  • Write titles and metadata, implement and backstop proper tagging for both written and video content.
  • Develop and drive editorial curation strategies, content and direction for online properties, landing pages or websites. Maintain high-level view of overall storytelling across platform.
  • Deliver web experiences that result in significant and measurable improvements in increasing viewership and content impression.
  • Job Qualifications


    Experience and interest in media/publishing, and a passion for sports brands.

  • Exceptional communication and project management skills; Proficient with PM tools such as Trello, Asana, or Jira; Ability to present ideas effectively and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Thorough understanding and experience of project management methodologies (agile, scrum, kanban, mukti).
  • Demonstrated experience working with editorial, product and engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of the tech used in managing content websites experience with web content management systems.
  • Experience with visual content creation and editing.
  • Solid news judgment, ability to think quickly and act appropriately under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of Olympic sports.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and what drives fan interest.
  • Experience with web analytics and personalization tools; ability to glean and share insights with a broad audience.
  • Work weekends, nights, holidays as required.
