PyeongChang 2018 One Year to Go Celebration to air LIVE on the Olympic Channel


MADRID – The PyeongChang 2018 One Year to Go Countdown Celebration, “Ready for PyeongChang 2018”, will air LIVE worldwide on the Olympic Channel on Thursday, 9 February at 11 a.m. CET. The event takes place at the Gangneung Hockey Centre in Gangwon Province, Republic of Korea.

In addition to ceremonial speeches, the debut of the Olympic Torch and the Olympic Anthem, the celebration will incorporate both Korean contemporary and traditional culture. On hand for the ceremony will be representatives from POCOG, Gangwon Province and the IOC alongside a PyeongChang 2018 Ambassador and a winter athlete.
